Ingredients

  • 2 cups pecans, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Grease the inside of your slow cooker to prevent sticking.
  2. In a bowl, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, flour, and salt. Stir until evenly mixed.
  3. In another bowl, mix sweetened condensed milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour half of the dry mixture into the slow cooker, followed by the wet mixture. Layer the remaining dry mixture on top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 240–300 minutes or on high for 120–180 minutes, until the top is golden and set.
  6. Let it cool slightly before cutting into squares and serve warm with ice cream or caramel sauce.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week. Reheat individual servings in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds.
