  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar. Whisk in eggs one at a time until smooth. Stir in flour and cocoa powder until just combined.
  3. Spread the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish, smoothing out the top.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix chopped pecans, corn syrup, and vanilla until well combined.
  5. Spread the pecan mixture evenly over the brownie base.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until edges are set and a toothpick comes out clean.
