Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of crescent rolls (store-bought)
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (roughly chopped)
  • â…“ cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • Cooking spray or butter (for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking sheet with cooking spray or butter.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon (if using). Stir until well mixed.
  3. Unroll the crescent rolls on a clean surface, separating them into triangles.
  4. Place about a tablespoon of the pecan mixture at the wider end of each triangle. Roll the dough starting from the wider end, tucking the filling inside, until you reach the pointed end.
  5. Place the rolled crescents on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them to expand.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. You can freeze unbaked crescents; just add 2-3 minutes to the baking time if baking from frozen.
