  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter (softened)
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tsp Peppermint Extract
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • Crushed Peppermint Candy Canes (for topping)
  • White Chocolate (for drizzling, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until fluffy and smooth (about 2 minutes).
  3. Gradually add softened butter and egg, mixing until silky.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and peppermint extract, then slowly add to the wet mixture. Stir until just combined.
  5. Scoop dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart, and gently flatten.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until edges are light golden brown.
  7. Allow cookies to cool for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Drizzle with melted white chocolate and sprinkle with crushed peppermint candy while warm.
