Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained crushed pineapple and sugar. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.
  3. In another bowl, combine the crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter and cinnamon (if using).
  4. Grease your crockpot or air fryer basket for easy release.
  5. Layer the pineapple mixture in your prepared dish and top with the buttery cracker mixture.
  6. For crockpot: Cover and cook on low for 120-180 minutes.
  7. For air fryer: Preheat to 350°F and cook for 15-20 minutes until golden.
  8. Once done, let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can use fresh pineapple instead of canned for a fresher taste. Add-ins like chopped pecans or walnuts can provide extra crunch.
