Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5 to 6 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter.
  6. Once melted, add the minced garlic and Italian seasoning.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter sauce over the top.
  8. Cook for another 2 to 3 minutes to heat through.

Notes

Ensure to pat chicken dry before seasoning for a crispy crust. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days.
