Ingredients

  • Puff Pastry Sheets (2 sheets)
  • Fresh Raspberries (1 cup)
  • Heavy Cream (1 cup)
  • Powdered Sugar (½ cup)
  • Vanilla Extract (1 teaspoon)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out puff pastry sheets on a floured surface until ¼ inch thick and cut into rectangles (3×5 inches).
  2. Place cut pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, prick lightly with a fork, and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Mash fresh raspberries in a bowl. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. Fold the mashed raspberries into the whipped cream for a marbled effect.
  5. Layer the Napoleons by spreading raspberry cream on puff pastry pieces. Repeat until all layers are assembled, finishing with raspberry cream and fresh raspberries on top.
  6. Chill the assembled Napoleons in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set.
  7. Slice into squares or rectangles and serve with optional powdered sugar dusting.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. Best consumed on the first day for optimal flakiness.
