Instructions

  3. In another bowl, blend the oil, buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for about 120 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Once cooked, remove the lid and allow the cake to cool for at least 30 minutes before frosting with cream cheese frosting or your favorite frosting.
  7. Cut into squares and serve warm!
