Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend this into the creamed mixture until just combined.
  5. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of cookie dough onto the baking sheet, creating a small indentation in the center of each cookie.
  7. Fill the indentation with a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture.
  8. Drizzle the salted caramel sauce over each cookie.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Allow cooling on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

Ensure butter is softened for easy creaming. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
