Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chopped mixed nuts (walnuts, pecans, or almonds)
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the flour and mix until combined.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into a greased 9ร—13-inch baking pan to form an even base.
  4. Spread the chopped mixed nuts evenly over the crust.
  5. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the nuts.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Once removed from the oven, allow it to cool slightly before drizzling the salted caramel sauce on top. Let it set before slicing into squares.

Notes

Feel free to use different nuts or add chocolate chips for variation. A pinch of cinnamon in the base can enhance the flavors.
