Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients for smooth assembly.
  2. Cube the bread and spread it evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned, about 7-10 minutes.
  4. Add the diced bell peppers and onions to the skillet and cook until softened, around 5 minutes.
  5. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together with a pinch of salt and pepper until smooth and creamy.
  6. Layer the sausage and vegetables over the bread, then pour the egg mixture evenly across the dish.
  7. Cover the dish and refrigerate overnight.
