Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • โ…” cup granulated sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ยผ tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line your cookie trays with parchment paper. If the air is warm, chill the cookie dough in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, use a hand mixer to cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg yolks and vanilla extract to the bowl. Mix on medium speed until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the all-purpose flour and salt while mixing on low speed until large crumbles form.
  5. Pour in the milk, mixing until the dough absorbs the liquid. Adjust with more milk if needed.
  6. Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a large open star tip.
  7. Pipe the dough onto the lined cookie trays, forming rosettes.
  8. Bake for about 13 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are light golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Ensure your butter is softened for easier mixing. Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
