Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 pound fresh or canned salmon
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 2 sheets nori, cut into strips
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse sushi rice under cold water until clear. Combine rice and water in a saucepan, bring to boil, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded salmon, mayonnaise, and sriracha until smooth.
  4. Spread cooked sushi rice evenly in a baking dish, pressing down gently.
  5. Evenly distribute the salmon mixture over the rice.
  6. Bake for about 25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Garnish with diced avocado, sesame seeds, and nori strips before serving.
