Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberries: Wash and chop the strawberries, then set aside in a bowl.
  2. Mix the wet ingredients: In a large bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, and eggs. Stir until smooth.
  3. Add dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  4. Fold in strawberries: Gently fold in the chopped strawberries and vanilla extract.
  5. Transfer to pan: Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 50–60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool and serve: Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a different flavor, swap strawberries for blueberries or raspberries, and consider adding a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg.
