Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 1 egg
  • â…“ cup milk
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a muffin tin or line it with muffin liners.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the oil, brown sugar, maple syrup, milk, and egg. Mix until smooth.
  5. Slowly add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the chopped pecans.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about three-quarters full.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
