  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) green beans, drained
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen Tater Tots
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
  3. Drain excess fat from the cooked beef.
  4. Combine cooked beef, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, and onion powder in a large mixing bowl; mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch casserole dish.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Arrange Tater Tots evenly over the cheese layer.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until Tater Tots are golden brown.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, brown the beef thoroughly and drain well to avoid a greasy casserole. You can also freeze the unbaked casserole for up to 2 months.
