Ingredients

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Gather your tools including a mixing bowl, whisk or electric mixer, 8×8 inch baking dish, and parchment paper.
  2. Combine 1 cup of lemon juice with one can of sweetened condensed milk in the mixing bowl.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C).
  4. Line the baking dish with parchment paper and pour the lemon mixture into the dish.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until edges are golden brown and center is set.
  6. Cool at room temperature for at least 30 minutes, then chill in the fridge for about an hour.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar, slice into squares, and enjoy!

Notes

For a twist, add a splash of vanilla extract or lemon zest. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week.
