Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup macadamia nuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy (about 2 minutes).
  3. Mix in the eggs one at a time, along with the vanilla extract, and continue mixing until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  5. Gently fold in the white chocolate chips and chopped macadamia nuts until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  6. Drop tablespoon-sized scoops of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  7. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For thicker cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for freshness.
