Ingredients

Scale
  • 500 g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 60 g unsalted butter, melted
  • 40 g freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C and lightly grease a suitable baking dish to prevent sticking.
  2. Arrange the shrimp in a single, even layer in the prepared baking dish without overlapping them.
  3. Combine the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and paprika in a bowl. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the shrimp, ensuring each piece is well coated.
  5. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the shrimp, and season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving, along with lemon wedges.

Notes

Be careful not to overcook the shrimp to avoid a rubbery texture. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
