Ingredients

  • 1½ cups creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 16 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup shaved paraffin wax

Instructions

  1. Beat together the creamy peanut butter and softened butter until well-blended and smooth.
  2. Stir in the vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  3. Gradually add the powdered sugar, blending it into the peanut butter mixture until it becomes smooth and fluffy.
  4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Chill the balls in the freezer for 60 minutes to firm them up.
  6. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips and shaved paraffin wax together in the microwave.
  7. Dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate mixture, allowing excess to drip off.
  8. Let the chocolate coating harden completely before serving.

Notes

For easier dipping, use a fork to dip the balls into the chocolate and tap to remove excess.
