Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup apples, peeled and diced
  • ½ cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, combine the melted butter, eggs, and diced apples. Mix well.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Scoop the batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling them about ¾ full.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool the cupcakes in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
