Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces pasta of your choice (spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 46 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté minced garlic for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese until fully mixed, creating a velvety sauce.
  4. Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss to coat. Use reserved pasta water to adjust creaminess if needed.
  5. Season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper, adjusting to taste.
  6. Serve immediately, garnishing with chopped parsley and extra cheese if desired.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes when sautéing the garlic. Substitute heavy cream with dairy-free alternatives to make the dish vegan.
