Ingredients

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • Vanilla ice cream (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, and sugar.
  4. In another bowl, mix the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  5. Combine the dry mixture with the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Pour half of the hot fudge into the batter and swirl it in.
  7. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving with vanilla ice cream and remaining hot fudge.

Notes

For added flavor, use high-quality cocoa powder and consider adding a teaspoon of espresso powder to the batter.
