Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions, about 7-8 minutes, then drain.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground meat, milk, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. In your greased casserole dish, layer half of the cooked macaroni, spread the meat mixture over it, and top with half of the cheese.
  5. Layer remaining macaroni and cheese on top.
  6. Sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly over the casserole.
  7. Bake for 50 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
