Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine pecans, brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. On the wide end of each triangle, place about a tablespoon of the filling.
  5. Gently roll the dough from the wide end to the pointed end, tucking the pointed ends underneath.
  6. Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the crescents.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for extra indulgence.
