  • 150 grams shredded mozzarella cheese (low moisture)
  • 50 grams shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 60 grams mini pepperoni slices or chopped pepperoni
  • 2 tablespoons pizza sauce or marinara sauce (optional for drizzling)
  • Crumbled cooked bacon (optional)
  • Chopped black olives (optional)
  • Diced bell peppers (optional)
  • Sliced jalapenos (optional)
  • Dried oregano or basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the shredded mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and optional crushed red pepper flakes in a medium bowl.
  3. Spoon about 15 grams of the cheese mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, flattening each mound slightly.
  4. Add one or two mini pepperoni slices on top of each cheese disc and any optional toppings.
  5. Bake in the oven for about 8 to 10 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Cool on the tray for 2 to 3 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack. Serve warm with dipping sauces.

Notes

For a perfectly crispy outcome, ensure cheese mounds are well spaced. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
