Ingredients

  • Taco shells (store-bought or homemade)
  • Cream cheese (8 oz, softened)
  • Powdered sugar (½ cup)
  • Vanilla extract (1 tsp)
  • Fresh strawberries (2 cups)
  • Graham cracker crumbs (½ cup)
  • Butter (2 tbsp, melted)
  • Chocolate sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the taco shells by preheating the oven to 350°F (175°C) and molding dough into taco shapes if making homemade shells; bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and crisp.
  2. Make the cheesecake filling by combining softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl; beat until smooth.
  3. Wash and slice fresh strawberries and mix into the cheesecake filling gently.
  4. Make the crunch topping by mixing graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until resembling wet sand.
  5. Assemble the tacos by filling taco shells with cheesecake and strawberry mixture, then sprinkle with the crunch topping.
  6. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.
