Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts) or chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sweetened condensed milk until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the all-purpose flour until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped nuts or chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop the dough into small balls (about 1 inch) and place them on a prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Cool on a wire rack for a few minutes, then roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
